Who is loopybiker?

I’m a crafty gal living in the suburbs of Chicago, IL. I’ve been knitting since 2003 after I got laid off from my job and discovered Debbie Stoller’s book, “Stitch ‘n Bitch.” After that, my closets have never been free of yarn. I’ve knit from head to toe and am always looking for a new challenge.

Over the years, I’ve also learned to crochet and can manage simple projects (generally rectangular in nature). I learned to sew from my mother and have made clothes here and there, but mostly just hem up jeans or create a new window treatment every so often.

I got involved with canine rescue in 2014 and am the proud mom of three Labrador Retriever mixes, and also a very chatty cat who thinks he’s a dog.

Oh … and the biker part of “loopybiker” is for my Harley that I’ve been riding since 2010.
